About this template
Before using this Microsoft Word document, you need to know a couple things. First, there are multiple placeholders within the document, all labeled < LIKE THIS >. When you see these you need to stop and replace the words with ones that are relevant to you. Some examples include, Business Name, state you operate in, etc. Second, certain sections are labeled < OPTIONAL >, read those carefully and decide if you want them. if not, just delete those sections.
Not to brag, but we had one of our favorite lawyers draft and review this document. While she is pretty good, we absolutely recommend that you have a lawyer check the final version over before implementing this within your business.

Implementing a COVID-19 Vaccine policy for your Business
Fully implementing a sound COVID-10 vaccine policy at your workplace is a multi-step process. First, have a read of our template policy, it will help you understand all of the moving parts. Then consider the following:
- Are you going to give your employees time off to obtain the vaccine?
- Will you pay or give them something for doing it?
- Can your employees opt out for medical, religious, etc. reasons?
- Will you allow your employees to submit to weekly testing in lieu of a vaccine?
- How long do they have to comply and what are you going to do if they don't?
Thankfully our template policy has provisions to answer all of these questions. But depending on your answer you might have to modify or delete some of our sections. If you aren't comfortable editing this document yourself, we recommend answering the questions above and then sitting down with your HR team or legal council. Don't forgot to bring our template policy with!
